After studying engineering at Ecole Centrale de Lille, Olivier Schiller enlisted in the French Navy where he became Reserve Officer on board a nuclear submarine. Then, he joined the advisory department of the firm Arthur Andersen. After completing an MBA at HEC Paris, he became Septodont Chief Financial Officer in 1993. In 2001, Olivier Schiller was made General Manager. He became President and CEO of the group in 2012. Olivier Schiller is a member of the Val de Marne Chamber of Commerce, an advisor to the Bank of France, an advisor to the NYU dental university and is on board of the exhibition committee of the French Dental Association and of the French Israeli Chamber of Commerce.

Karim joined Septodont in 2021 as President of the Dental Division, directly responsible for the company’s global dental business including sales, marketing and research & development. Karim joined Septodont with more than 30 years of experience in both large and small organizations in the medical devices and diagnostics industry. He held the position of President and General Manager of NDS Surgical Imaging at Novanta for several years, and had a long and successful tenure at Johnson & Johnson across minimally-invasive surgery, orthopedic and diabetes businesses. Functionally, he has also touched several different parts of the business from finance, sales, business development, marketing and general management. Karim is an alumnus of Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, Bloomington, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and an MBA.

Atif Zia is a member of the Septodont Group Executive Committee and a veteran in the sterile pharmaceutical industry with 30 years’ experience. He joined Septodont in 2009 to lead Septodont’s Cambridge site in Canada, as Vice-President and General Manager and went on to lead US and Brazilian operations. He was appointed as the Group’s Chief Operating Officer in 2021 with global Dental and Pharma operations responsibility. Atif also plays a key role in leading the Group’s strategic growth serving as President of Novocol Pharma, Septodont’s injectable Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) division, embedded within the Cambridge operations and at Duoject Medical Systems in Bromont, Quebec. Prior to joining Septodont, he spent many years at Apotex, having held a wide range of leadership roles. During his tenure there he made a significant impact on the company’s rapid growth in becoming a world leader in generic ophthalmics, injectables, nasal sprays and oral liquids. Atif believes our company values are critical to team success in achieving Septodont’s growth ambitions, which are rich in purpose to serve customers and patients through innovation and excellence. Atif graduated from University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science and holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management. Atif’s hobbies include music, mountain biking, woodworking and breadmaking.

Paul Mondock

A 30+ year veteran of Septodont, Paul has held numerous roles with increasing responsibility. He is currently the President for the Americas, with P&L responsibilities for the region. He is a seasoned industry leader, serving on many internal committees and is an original member of the corporate EXCOM. In addition to his company responsibilities Paul is also involved at the Board level with multiple industry-related non-profit organizations. Paul received his BS in Business Management from the University of Pittsburgh and his MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

Laurent joined Septodont in 2014 and is Chief Pharmaceutical Affairs Officer responsible for quality, regulatory and medical affairs. He also manages the enterprise risk management system for the group. Laurent has over 25 years of experience in quality, regulatory and product development in drugs and medical devices in international regulatory environments. He started at Rhône-Poulenc-Rorer (now Sanofi) in France and the United States and was General Manager/qualified person at Ethymed, a subsidiary of Ethypharm group, where he developed transdermal systems. He then joined Septodont France as quality and compliance Director. During his first period at Septodont, Laurent contributed to structuring the pharmaceutical compliance of the group. Laurent then held the position of Vice President of Quality and Qualified Person at Stallergenes, where he contributed to the registration and launch of an immunotherapy treatment in about 30 countries including the United States and Japan. Laurent believes that science and compliance can support sound business to the benefit of the patients and customers. Laurent is a Doctor of Pharmacy and holds master’s degrees in quality assurance and pharmaceutical sciences. Laurent enjoys mountain hiking, traveling, and music.

Aïcha joined Septodont in 2016 within the Human Resources department as Head of Employee Communications with the mandate to tell the Septodont story in new and compelling ways. Over the years, she increased her scope of responsibility and worked on other areas of HR as Director of HR Development and then as Chief HR Officer, responsible for developing and executing the group’s human resources strategy. Aïcha started her career at GE Healthcare where she held internal communications and public relations leadership roles. She then joined Philips Lighting where she helped drive the merger communication strategy and post-merger integration process of the Automotive and LED businesses, based out of northern California. Aïcha is a graduate of CELSA, a communication and journalism school, part of the Sorbonne University. She also holds an Executive Master in Marketing from ESCP Europe and an Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School. As a Senior HR Leader, Aïcha is passionate about driving business success through the lens of people and determined to build a workplace where employees can bring their best selves to work. She also has a true passion for cultures, languages and for broadening perspectives and connecting with people and places through travels.

Bruce joined Septodont in 2010 as Director of Engineering for the Cambridge site. He expanded his responsibility to become Vice-President of Corporate Engineering in 2015. In 2016, he moved to Paris to take on the role of Vice-President of Operations for the Saint Maur site in 2016. After increasing his Operations leadership responsibility to include DLA and SOFIC sites in 2019, Bruce’s scope was extended to include responsibility for all operations within the group in 2020 as Executive-Vice President of Operations. Today, Bruce is responsible for managing all of our manufacturing sites within the group, and is also in charge of Septodont’s corporate engineering, supply chain, and environmental sustainability functions. Prior to joining Septodont, Bruce held a range of operations leadership positions in medical device, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage manufacturing organizations, including at Apotex, and Anheuser-Busch InBev. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, and a MBA from the Rotman School of Management.
